Parking Lot Rescue Repair Scam Targets Seniors

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- It was 11:30 a.m. when 75-year-old Norman Delehanty parked his car in the same area he always parks at the Walmart on Normandy Boulevard.

"I had just put something in the trunk and I hear a voice behind me," he said.

The voice behind him came from a man who claimed he was a mechanic and that he saw something wrong with the front tire on Delehanty's Ford 500.

Music Review: Tim McGraw's Emotional Traffic

Music Review: Tim McGraw's Emotional Traffic

From the day I started listening to country music, Tim McGraw has been one of my favorite artists. He has a good vocal range and the ability to make albums with a little bit of everything. By that I mean that he has a mix of up-tempo, nostalgic, and inspiring songs.

Electrical Problems at Home? Call Utility First!

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- If you're having electrical problems in your home, before you call an electrician call your utility.

Thanksgiving week Glenda Bennett learned this the hard way.

"Wednesday night I came home from my mom's house and on this whole side of the house the power was out," she said.

The electricity was off on one side, then it was on again, so she called an electrician.

"The electrician comes out and checks the breaker box. He said, 'when I tested the legs coming into the house, you've got 120 on one side and 40 on the other side, it is a good thing you called that's why your stove and microwave (are) not working'," said Bennett.
