Kingsland Police Department Host ICAC Meeting

 

On Friday, March 2, 2012 the Kingsland Police Department (KPD) hosted the first 2012 quarterly meeting of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.  These meetings are hosted in local jurisdictions as a means to keep task force members up to date on the ever changing technology and ways that our children are being targeted and/or victimized.

KINGSLAND, Ga. -- The woman found dead near an interstate onramp has been identified and the cause of death has been determined.

Two Tattoos on Murder Victim's Body, Still No ID

CAMDEN COUNTY, Ga. -- The woman's body found Wednesday near Interstate 95 has been autopsied, and police hope two tattoos can help identify the body.

Deputy William Terrell with the Camden County Sheriff's Office released the photographs of the tattoos this afternoon and more information.

Body Found On Union Carbide Road

 

According to a press release from the Camden County Sheriff’s Office, the body of a 25-year-old man was found yesterday on Union Carbide Road.

The body of James A. Willis III, of Fort Stewart, was found at 10:30 yesterday morning on the north side of Union Carbide Road, about nine miles east of Interstate 95.

According to the release, Willis’ body was found about twenty feet off the road near the entrance to Cabin Bluff by two local men. Willis’ death is being investigated as a homicide, states the release.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigations (GBI) is assisting with the investigation. An investigation is underway.
